A huge trend I’m seeing in drumming these days is players tend to pick one brand of drums or cymbals and purchase only that brand. In most cases drummers will simply buy what their favourite drummer is playing. I’m not saying this is necessarily wrong, but make sure you’re buying what inspires you. Don’t feel pressured into sticking to only one company. If it sounds good – get it. You need to find your sound.
Does your kit consist of only a few names? Or does your kit look like mine in the video? I want to hear your thoughts in the comments.
