He was inducted into the \u201cRock and Roll Hall of Fame\u201d and voted \u201cBest All-Around Drummer\u201d five years in a row by&nbsp;<em>Modern Drummer&#8217;s<\/em>&nbsp;readers poll. Steve is perhaps best known as the drummer for Journey. He would end up recording six albums, including Journey\u2019s most popular album&nbsp;<em>Escape<\/em>, during his tenure with them. However, Steve is a jazz drummer at heart.
