After 4 days jam-packed with the best drum performances, latest drum gear, and of course meeting and chatting with fellow musicians &#8211; we&#8217;ve landed back home in British Columbia, Canada. We&#8217;ve been providing updates as we&#8217;ve been going along, but I thought I&#8217;d take the time to compile the BEST of NAMM 2016 in one post!<\/p>\n<p>_________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: xx-large;\">ROLI Booth<\/span><\/p>\n<p>To kick off this list, we have a fantastic performance by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Cory-Henry-275001502510317\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cory Henry<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/snarkypuppy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Snarky Puppy<\/a>), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LarnellLewisMusic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Larnell Lewis<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/marcoparisiofficial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marco Parisi<\/a>. Both Cory and Marco were using Roli&#8217;s featured product &#8211; the <a href=\"https:\/\/imp.i114863.net\/DV0RD2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Seaboard RISE<\/a>. We got to witness a couple of great solos from these two, all with Larnell filling in the gaps with his great drumming. Starting with the new &#8216;A&#8217; Avedis line, Zildjian decided to take a step into the past and recreate the magic of vintage cymbals. From the hollow logo, marked gram weight, and patina style lathing &#8211; these pies will take you right back to the 50s and 60s. The other debuting cymbal line is the &#8216;S&#8217; family. We&#8217;ve never seen something quite like this before! Watch as Russ performs a cover of &#8220;Fields of Gold&#8221; by Sting using both acoustic and electronic sounds.
